Case Rounds

Case Round Date April 24, 2023, 12:00pm (MST)
Moderator Dr. Carrie Ye and Dr. Janet Roberts

Join us for our second international case rounds!

CanRIO will be hosting a bi-monthly international case rounds open to rheumatologists, oncologists, residents or any health care provider involved in the care of patients who develop rheumatic complications of immunotherapy.

CanRIO is thrilled to have Dr. Anne Bass from the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York City,  join us for our second international case rounds to discuss her research in the area of rheumatic complications of immunotherapy.

Dr. Bass is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine/Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in
New York City. She is a practicing rheumatologist at HSS, New York Presbyterian Hospital (Cornell), and
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She co-directs a large checkpoint inhibitor-associated arthritis
registry at HSS and leads a multidisciplinary team doing translational studies in that cohort. Her research
goals are to identify effective treatments for immune related adverse events (irAE) that preserve anti-
tumor responses, and to gain insight into the development of de novo rheumatic diseases, such as
rheumatoid arthritis, through the study of irAE.

Following her presentation there will be time to discuss your difficult cases!  We look forward to seeing you there!
